Hand-painted, dyed, geli-plate fabrics and embellished commercial fabrics are combined with raw edge applique. The windows are done with paper collage.  Foiled fabrics create the figures, while gold metallic thread lights up the piece.  Machine quilted.

Things we used to take for granted before covid - like eating out and standing in line-ups not worrying about social distancing!  I created this piece early in 2021 when, for a short duration, restaurants were opening up again.  It received a Viewer's Choice Award in the EDQG zoom quilt show.
