Poppy Pizazz, with its field of delicate yet resilient flowers, is a textile ode to van Gogh. The poppies and butterflies were fussy-cut then appliquéd. The yarn in the van Goghian sky was machine-couched, the sparkles lending to the magic in the scene. The grasses were machine-appliquéd last.
