In San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, I took a photograph of a doll maker selling her dolls from an open doorway. I interpreted the photo in fabric, using silk fabrics, fabric painting, thread painting, watercolour pencils, and machine quilting. San Miguel Dollmaker was juried into the National Juried Show at Quilt Canada 2016.
