Excited by three pieces on my design wall (2 of which I created), I realized that they would work well as a unit. As the project unfolded it was interesting to see how they reflected and emphasized one another.

Materials: Painted canvas, collaged paper/fabric, purchased hand-made paper, hand dyed linen and cotton, fusible stiff interfacing.

Techniques: Painting, collaged paper, hand dyeing, fusing, machine appliqued and quilted.

Process: Each piece was bordered by hand dyed linen, attached to a fusible stiff interfacing and quilted before attaching to the quilted background.
