Threads of Hope

The Athabasca Glacier, Ice Fields Parkway in Alberta, has lost 2 km of its length and half of its volume since 1844. In 2018, it was thought to be receding 5 m/year. In 2020 the figure has increased to 8 m/yr. What can we do to prevent global warming? If we all make an effort to decrease the use of fossil fuels, shop responsibly, and recycle religiously, we can make a difference!
