As a Canadian, I relish our change of seasons. I love winter but each year by the end of March the winter months seem to drag on. Slowly the landscape takes on a new look and hue. The ice on the lake melts, the vivid green of new leaf foliage unfolds, the first blossoms perfume the air and the warblers reappear, broadcasting their melodious songs. All are sure signs that spring is finally on its way.
