"Jasper Dreaming" was inspired by a summer spent in a small rustic cabin outside Jasper. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the mountains, I found myself imagining the cabin transformed by winter, a warm light glowing against deep snow and northern lights. "Painting" with wool fibre became the perfect medium to capture the sense of comfort and memory. Through layers of fibre, machine and hand stitching, the piece evokes both the softness of the landscpe and the feeling of a cherished retreat suspended in time.
