While the downtown Walterdale Bridge connects two sides of the city, it also reflects the coexistence of two worlds. Beneath its sweeping structure, the river vally remains defiantly wild - coyotoes harmonize with emergency sirens, beavers continue buildig dams, and falcons nest on skyscraper ledges. Urban life and untamed nature exist side by side, each shaping the rhythm of the other.

This work was created by 1st painting fabric with watercolour gouache, intentionally leaving areas of raw cloth exposed, Once dry, the entire surfce was covered with permanent India ink. The transformation occurs when the piece is lightly scrubbed with water, revealing unpredictable textures and patterns unique to each work, After heat-setting with an iron, the surface becomes wather resistent, preserving the layered dialogue between control, chance and material.
