Victoria Gray

This piece started as a project to try various hand-appliqué techniques from Laurene Sinema's "Appliqué, Appliqué, Appliqué!". A wide selection of taupe fabrics combined with some challenging piecing created an Asian flair. 3-D appliquéd dogwoods were added to an original setting. Random, overall Japanese hand-quilted motifs finish the piece. Hand appliquéd, hand embroidered and hand stitched, machine pieced, hand quilted.
