I created a sheet of paper fabric using dressmaker pattens and sheer curtaining, then painted and stamped this. After cutting it into tiles and burning the edges, I applied the tiles to the background, then added the burned edge flowers and vines and embellishments.  It is 3 or more layers thick but there is no batting.
