Garlic and Wine was a commision piece I created for a client whom provided the photograph of his chosen subject. As I studied the photo and the "real" garlic!!! I was amazed to see the huge amount of tones and shades. I spent a long time picking the right shades and tones of fabric to create the garlic. Of course, the thread painting enhanced the finished piece.

This was juried into 2020 CQA National Show.
