An early summer felting retreat in Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan,  offered magical escape. Surrounded by the vast prairie landscape, I began weaving warp threads with layers of wool fibre and yarns that echoed the textures and colours around me —  plein air painting with wool and a little stitching. A perfect creative retreat.
