The accommodations at The Crossing at Grasslands NP SK overlooked a small dammed pond that became a sanctuary for birds, adding movement, sound, and life to an already inspiring landscape. 

I enjoy creating a fusion of techniques.  Both warp threads in a frame and a metal and wool sculpted tree, are the foundation for weaveing  wool fibre  before wet felting. Needle felting and stitch by hand and machine further brings out the rugged texture of this environment. The felt is mounted linen, painted with earthpigments mixed with soymilk.
