Rainy Day

I always check the weather before I venture out on my daily walks. On a rainy day sound is muffled, the light and colours are softened while rain drips from the sky and the trees. One seems to be cocooned in a world of one’s own.

Materials: cotton painted with thickened dyes

Techniques: painting with thickened dyes, machine applique and quilting
