IT’S A WRAP!

Several short presentations took place in the morning.  These ladies spoke about Zoom meetings and how much they love the sense of community it fosters.

We collected Wacky ideas, and there were some really wild ones, especially Karen’s about wearing a sandwich board.  There were also many practical ideas that could be put in place with more volunteering.  Joyce stepped up to fill one of these ideas, she is going host a zoom meeting that will teach everyone about using their social media to its full potential. A hashtag what? Date to be announced.

Pat made felt bowls that held treats for us these last four days were given as gifts by a random draw.  I (Karlie) won this one, it’s absolutely lovely.

I (Karlie) had so much fun drawing and painting in my sketchbook.  In the end I fill 45 pages, a little over half way.  Here are two of my favourites.

Last by not least Sharon is ready to hand over her planning binder to Christine and the Nanaimo conference team. I’m sure it will be filled with tons of valuable information.

Thanks so much to everyone on the Edmonton team, you did an awesome job.  It was so lovely to reconnect with fibre friends and meet all the new members who attended, nine in all.
