Northern Alberta Regional Member Tour of Clothing and Textile Collection at the University of Alberta

On May 15, 2025 nine FAN members from the Edmonton region visited the at the University of Alberta. Led by the Collections Manager Vlada Blinova, the tour included a sampling of the 26,000-piece Anne Lambert Collection, as well as a newly acquired collection of Panamanian molas from the estate of Anne Lambert, a boro stitch exhibit in the Dept of Human Ecology, and an exhibit of Prof. Anne Bissonnette’s Creative Design Research in the foyer of the Human Ecology building.

I don’t know whether the boro stitch exhibit has been shown other than in the Dept of Human Ecology.
