A hike to our neighbourhood pond with my young grandson inspired this piece of fibre art.  The normally rambunctious child, took one look at the pond, teeming with ducks and geese, dashed to the shoreline and sat for the longest time watching the action, while I snapped pictures of the scene. The final piece bears no resemblance to the photo taken on that day, his first hike to the new park.
